Who: Friends of Gwynns Falls / Leakin Park is an organization committed to keep Gwynns Falls and Leakin Park a beautiful area for Baltimore residents to enjoy. Friends of Gwynns Falls/Leakin Park, Inc. assures the restoration and maintenance of the Gwynns Falls/Leakin Park as an historic area and healthy urban wilderness in Baltimore City for the experience, learning and enjoyment of all. In protecting the park we strive to balance advocacy, recreation, history, and environment.

Volunteers: 10-15 volunteers college-aged and older.

Who: Faith Urban Works is the outreach ministry of Faith Christian Fellowship Church. Their vision is for the transformation of people into a community of grace-filled followers of Jesus for a greater Pen Lucy, Baltimore, and World.
What: This project involves landscaping and light construction of the facilities that house the Faith Urban Works ministry. Volunteers are need from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Volunteers: 10-12 volunteers later-elementary age and older. One volunteer needed to coordinate construction.

Who: ACTS4YOUTH is a ministry that helps motivate at-risk boys in Baltimore City toward character, competence, and career development.

What: Help young "at-risk" boys participate in a service project at the Guilford School.
Volunteers: Up to 30 volunteers both adult and youth needed. Also good for families with children around 9 years old.

Who: The Samaritan Women is a ministry that provides transitional, residential program for young woman who need alternative accommodations and a more structured living environment.

What: Help volunteers at the Samaritan Women location rehabilitate a building that will provide transitional housing for young women. This will involve light construction and will be an all-day project.
Volunteers: Up to 15 volunteers high school aged and up.
